Qualification:
For each post, there are clear qualification rules:
- Secondary School Teacher (SST)

- B.Ed or equivalent professional qualification
- MA (Education Planning and Management) is also acceptable.
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
- 14 years of education (Bachelor’s degree) in the relevant subject
- B.Ed or equivalent professional qualification
Candidates must have degrees from universities recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Age Limit:
The age limits are:
- SST: Maximum 35 years as of May 3, 2025
- TGT: As of May 3, 2025, a maximum of 33 years
There is also age relaxation for certain categories, like:
- 5 years for general candidates
- 10 years for disabled persons
- 15 years for retired armed forces personnel
- 5 years for widows, sons or daughters of civil servants who died during service

The TGT posts are divided among the following subjects:

Selection Process
The selection process has two main steps:
Written Test
Candidates who make the short list will be asked to take a written exam. The test centers will be in Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Quetta. Details about the test venue and date will be given on the website and through letters.
Interview
Interview invitations will be extended to candidates who successfully complete the written exam. At the time of the interview, they must provide their original documentation, including their diplomas.
- Government employees must show a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.
- If any document or detail is found to be fake or false, the application will be cancelled immediately.
- There won not be any travel reimbursement (TA/DA) for the exam or interview.
- Candidates must submit an affidavit at the time of the interview that they have no criminal record.
