FPSC CSS Competitive Examination 2026:

Eligibility Criteria for CSS 2026:

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for the CSS Competitive Examination 2026:

Education: A minimum second-division bachelor degree from an accredited university.

Age Range: 21–30 years old as of December 31, 2025.

For some categories listed in the 2019 CSS Rules, there is a two-year age relaxation (up to 32 years).

Gender and Special Individuals: Candidates of any gender, including special persons, are welcome to apply.

Nationality: Must be an AJK permanent resident or a citizen of Pakistan.

Application Process for CSS MPT 2026:

  1. Go to the FPSC website: Navigate to www.fpsc.gov.pk and select the “Apply Online” option.
  2. Complete the online application: Carefully enter your residence, academic, and personal information.
  3. Application Fee Submission: Rs. 250/- in the nearest State Bank/National Bank of Pakistan under account head C02101-Organs of State Exam Fee. Keep the receipt safe.
  4. Print Challan Form: Bring the original challan form at the time of the test.
  5. Download Admission Certificate: Available on the FPSC website 10 days before the test.
  6. Appear for MPT Exam: Take the test at the allocated center with your original CNIC and admission certificate.

Syllabus of MPT for CSS 2026:

The syllabus for the MCQ-based preliminary Test is available on the FPSC website. It usually covers:

  • English (Vocabulary, Grammar, Comprehension)
  • General Knowledge (Current Affairs, Pakistan Affairs, Islamiat)
